About Us

Dartmouth Television is a student-run organization dedicated to producing quality campus programming for Dartmouth College. Our programming airs on a weekly basis online, and can be viewed at any time.

Mission Statement

The purpose of DTV is to promote the cinematographic arts at Dartmouth and to unite the campus by keeping students up to date on, and broadcasting events significant to students on campus. DTV will broadcast a variety of footage including Dartmouth sports, academic lectures and programs, student films and animations, videos of Dartmouth student group performances, and student created shows. The shows will be broadcasted on Dartmouth closed-circuit television, providing a source of visual news and entertainment for Dartmouth students. Furthermore, DTV will also provide undergraduate students an opportunity to learn practical skills associated with the wide scope of the cinematographic craft. It will give students interested in going into a career in television and media real experience running a television station, filming and management experience for related future careers.
